In which Father's experiment begins as Jack is returned to the real world for the first time in 20 years. Meanwhile, Amelia and Max search for the way back home to a safer and more loving place.

In which the experiment continues as Jack finds himself in a room with a dead girl and the police beating down the door. Mother begins to yearn for something more, and Max learns that too much of a sweet thing isn't always good for you.

In which Father tasks Gusano with eliminating Amelia, and Jack and the big hearted girl finally make contact, however, when Max and Father's man servant find themselves caught in the middle the results are explosive, with drastic results for Father's experiment.
